The Corrs Bring a Celtic Celebration to Blenheim Palace

The third evening at Nocturne Live 2025 continued the weekend's trend of pairing world-class music with an unparalleled setting. The audience, fantastic once again, filled the magnificent courtyard, where the crystal-clear sound and large screens ensured a perfect view for all. After grabbing a top-notch burger from the Nanny Bills stand, the atmosphere was perfectly set for a Saturday night showcase, which would later be topped off with a welcome ice cream.

Opening the show was country-pop trio Remember Monday, a delightful discovery for much of the crowd. Their set was built on beautifully blended harmonies and candid songwriting, with tales of misbehaving ex-boyfriends striking a chord. A crowd-pleasing cover of Natasha Bedingfield’s "Unwritten" showed their smart instincts, and they left the stage having won over a host of new admirers.

Next up, Natalie Imbruglia brought a dose of sun-drenched Aussie charm to the stage. Instantly likeable and refreshingly candid, she mentioned being local to the area and having friends in the audience (celebrating a birthday) and seemed to be having a wonderful time with her band. The inevitable, glorious moment came with "Torn," a unifying slice of 90s nostalgia that had every single person singing along.

Headliners The Corrs arrived on stage fresh from a performance at the Isle of Wight Festival and delivered a set that was, frankly, a revelation. Any notion that this was purely a nostalgia act was blown away by the sheer level of musicianship on display. This is a family of virtuosos. Sharon’s violin was the fiery heart of the show, driving the rhythm and soaring over the melodies, while Andrea’s vocals remain as effortlessly pure and captivating as ever.

The setlist was a perfectly balanced journey, moving from the polished pop of "What Can I Do" and a gorgeous cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" to exhilarating traditional instrumentals like "Toss the Feathers" that sparked jigs across the courtyard (with Remember Monday next to me dancing and enjoying the show). The encore of "Runaway" followed by the irresistible "Breathless" was a reminder of their pop-chart dominance, but the lasting impression was one of profound musicality. It was a performance that felt both intimate and epic, a family sharing their incredible talent on a grand stage. In a festival full of stars, The Corrs shone brightly, proving that true talent is timeless.
