Saturday at Big Feastival 2024 brought a diverse lineup of music and even more mouth-watering food options. The festival grounds were alive with activity as families and music fans alike soaked up the atmosphere. Despite a brief rainstorm, the day’s energy never wavered, and the eclectic mix of performances kept everyone entertained.

Hak Baker opened the day with his raw, acoustic storytelling, setting a mellow yet captivating tone. His heartfelt lyrics and stripped-back sound drew the crowd in, creating an intimate start to the day.

Kate Nash followed with her quirky charm, delivering hits like Foundations that had everyone singing along. Even a heavy rainstorm during her set couldn’t dampen the crowd’s spirits, as they danced through the downpour.

For lunch, we ventured to Sireli Falafel, where the falafel with maple tahini zhug and extra halloumi was a standout meal. The festival’s food offerings continued to impress, with something for every taste and craving.

The afternoon saw a heartfelt performance by Cian Ducrot, whose emotional delivery and poignant lyrics captivated the audience. His song All For You was a particularly moving moment, showcasing his ability to connect deeply with listeners.

Later, Cat Burns took to the stage, bringing her soulful voice and relatable lyrics to life. A Mercury Prize-nominated artist, Cat’s performance of Go was a highlight, and her unexpected cover of Teenage Dirtbag had the crowd laughing and singing along.

As the evening approached, Jax Jones turned the festival into an open-air nightclub with pulsating beats that got everyone moving.

The night concluded with Ministry of Sound Classical, blending iconic dance tracks with a live orchestra. The lasers and nostalgic tunes created an unforgettable experience, taking us back to the early days of dance music.

Saturday at Big Feastival 2024 was a day of eclectic sounds, delicious food, and unforgettable moments. From heartfelt ballads to high-energy dance tracks, the festival delivered something for everyone, leaving us eager for Sunday’s finale.
