Friday at Truck Festival 2024 was packed with diverse performances across the Main Stage, Market Stage, and The Nest, offering something for every music fan. The day began with fresh acts like Carsick and Overpass on the Main Stage. Carsick’s raw, punk-inspired sound and Overpass’s blend of indie rock and modern pop drew in early crowds, setting a vibrant tone for the afternoon.


NewDad followed with their dreamy indie-pop vibes, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere with ethereal soundscapes and emotive lyrics.

Holly Humberstone then took to the Main Stage, captivating the audience with her heartfelt performance and hits like Scarlett. Her intimate and vulnerable lyrics resonated deeply, creating a shared emotional experience.

Over on the Market Stage, The K’s delivered a high-energy set, while Nieve Ella and Antony Szmierek added their unique sounds to the lineup. Nieve Ella’s soulful voice and Antony Szmierek’s innovative electronic beats brought diverse flavors to the day’s musical offerings.



Declan McKenna stole the show on the Main Stage with his thought-provoking lyrics and vibrant stage presence. Tracks like Brazil and Be an Astronaut had the crowd singing along, blending political commentary with infectious energy.

The Nest hosted standout performances from Me Rex and Problem Patterns, both of whom drew big crowds. Me Rex’s blend of electronic and indie sounds paired with poignant lyrics created an engaging experience, while Problem Patterns’ punk rock energy and feminist themes resonated strongly with the audience.

Friday’s headliner, Jamie T, brought a raucous end to the day on the Main Stage. Tracks like Zombie and Sheila had the crowd singing along, while his charismatic performance and the band’s tight musicianship made for a memorable close to the day. Revisiting tracks from Panic Prevention, Jamie T proved why he’s still one of the UK’s most beloved artists.
