Truck Festival 2023 - Sunday - Live Review

Sunday at Truck Festival brought a welcome break from the rain, though the churned-up ground made wellies a necessity. The day began on the Main Stage with Chappaqua Wrestling, Prima Queen, and Cian Ducrot, whose TikTok hit All For You was a crowd favorite.



Over on the Market Stage, Liverpool’s Stone delivered a standout performance, drawing a large crowd and proving they’re a band to watch.

Back on the Truck Stage, Pale Waves brought goth-pop glamour to the festival, with Heather Baron-Gracie and the band delivering a polished and captivating set.

The Lathums followed, showcasing their effortless stage presence and catchy tunes. Frontman Alex Moore’s confidence and ease on stage made their performance a highlight of the day.

Self Esteem delivered an empowering set on the Truck Stage, blending thought-provoking lyrics with dynamic choreography. Tracks from Compliments Please and Prioritise Pleasure resonated deeply with the audience, making for a memorable performance.

A quick dash to The Market Stage allowed us to catch part of Everything Everything’s set, which was met with a large, enthusiastic crowd. Their intricate sound and engaging performance were well worth the effort.

Sunday’s headliners, Royal Blood, closed the festival with a colossal show on the Truck Stage. The Brighton duo delivered a powerful set, opening with Out of the Black and Come On Over. Their dynamic sound and commanding stage presence had the crowd rocking and moshing along. Tracks from their three albums, including How Did We Get So Dark? and Typhoons, showcased their evolution as a band. The set ended with Pull Me Through, accompanied by a stunning fireworks display that lit up the sky—a perfect finale to the weekend.

Truck Festival 2023 proved once again why it’s one of the UK’s best-loved festivals. With its mix of big-name acts, emerging talent, and welcoming atmosphere, Truck continues to deliver unforgettable experiences year after year.
