The Kooks Announce 2025 UK Arena Tour – Their Biggest Yet, Including O2 London Headline
Indie royalty The Kooks are back with a bang, announcing their massive 2025 UK arena tour – and it’s shaping up to be their biggest run to date. Kicking off this October, the Never/Know Tour will see the Brighton-formed band hit arenas across the country, culminating in a career-defining headline show at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday, 11th October.
Tickets officially go on sale Friday 25th April at 10am, with a special pre-sale launching Tuesday 23rd April for lucky fans who sign up in time.
This is the first time The Kooks will headline Manchester’s brand-new Co-op Live venue – the largest indoor arena in the UK – and they’ll also return to Brighton for a long-overdue homecoming. Expect euphoric singalongs, big indie hooks, and a nostalgic-but-fresh energy only The Kooks can bring.
The tour comes hot on the heels of their seventh studio album, ‘Never/Know’, due out 9th May 2025. The project follows a wave of new music from the band, including the shimmering springtime single ‘Sunny Baby’, which earned praise from The Times and premiered on BBC Radio 2 with Jo Whiley.
Joining The Kooks on tour are fast-rising indie newcomers The K’s, fresh off being crowned Breakthrough Act of the Year at the 2024 Northern Music Awards. Their new album ‘Pretty On The Internet’ is due in June 2025 - expect high energy and northern swagger in spades.
With over 2 million copies sold of their debut and a renewed wave of Gen Z fans discovering them on TikTok and streaming platforms, The Kooks have found themselves straddling generations. From 2006 anthems like Naïve to the chart-topping Konk and their more experimental recent work, the band have never stood still creatively.
Their sound has evolved - from jangly Britpop beginnings to synth-laced, krautrock-influenced indie - but the heart of The Kooks has always been sharp songwriting and undeniable charm.
